I honestly had thought he looked to be a mere 8 inches or so but i was WRONG! He must of just looked small in the other photo because of his bent body... I just got a new picture from the guy and the tank is 12 inches front to back (I assume it is 12 inches... It is standard 30 gallon tank) He is just as long as the side of the tank... HE IS A FATTY LOL! NO WAY MY CLOWN KNIFE CAN EAT THIS!!!!!
 
You can see the guys "eel" is really just a reedfish...

Did you get the fish? You already have 6 Offical updates and it seems the guy on Craigslist still had the fish.
 
While i applaud you for taking in rescues, i'm not sure how effective it is if you have to pay for them...

Would almost seem like the person on craigslist should donate the fish to you since its already becoming deformed?

But thats just my 0.2cents..
