I'll find away to lock my lids when my daughter get older so their no incident where I find toys and othe objects in my tanks.

I have all of my tanks down in the basement so I don't have to put up with anyone bothering with them as no one has any business down there unless they are invited. Most visitors who come over already know about my fish and how I feel about them and the novelty to them has worn off long ago.I was always stern about people not tapping on the glass though....

In all honesty, everyone tends ro leave my fish alone. Surprisingly, they seem to respect that fish is my hobby. Although, one neighbor's does like to smack the tank like she's high- fiving the fish. My teeth tend to clench and grind when she does that. Otherwise the dog does try to eat the pleco when on the front glass pane.

There aren't many people i allow up to my place in fear of things getting crazy, and if i have to have friends with small kids come up, i make sure to lay down the law prior to them arriving so they know the do's and dont's about my fish tank...

And.. Anyone that taps my glass. I'll tap him with a knife..
Leave fingerprints? I makes sure they see the last ones they leave..
HAHAHA:):):)

Am I the only one here who taps my own tanks? That's how I get my turtle's attention! I don't care if it startles some feeder fish. And all my bigger fish haven't cared--they just think it means feeding time.

I have two tanks in my living room and for some reason whenever people come over I think it's really cool but the fish follow them when they walk back and forth back and forth. Usually results in me having to say something. Don't tease my dogs don't tease my fish don't tease my cat or you won't be invited back.
