So today became a really crappy one. Looked like we were finally getting a break in the weather so I decided to run some errands. Go out back to get the gas can and see an egret fly off from the roof of my patio. Look at the pond and notice the water level is dropping. Look in it and see scales on the bottom of the pond. My black and white koi is missing and there is a hole in the liner. Now have three over grown comets and a foot long koi in the tank. The Oscar is very unhappy.

Finally get going on errands. Get to the last one, the grocery store. Park, get out and see black clouds but they're moving by quickly, no need for an umbrella. Soon as I get into line a monsoon starts. End up soaked but no big deal,I can now go home. Car won't start. Nothing, no power. Pouring rain, windows up and getting hot. Get out, pop the hood. Battery cable is off. Put it on, and it starts. No tools so no way to tighten it. Gauges and lights going crazy all the way home.

And the rains are back. My back yard looks like an over grown lake. Mosquito central.

The battery is for starting the car, the alternator is all you need once its running. Lower rpms will cause lights to dim etc and a battery helps during these times. I like to change my batteries when the car is running so that I dont have reprogram my radio.
 
For sale cheap to the person who has been waiting for one so they can finish a project.

Trying to catch endlers in a heavily planted tank is really testing my patience.
