HELP! What is wrong with my poor Senegalus?

I went over to look at the fish for a little bit and noticed this patch of scales on his back turning white. It does not really look like Ich. What could it be and how should I treat it?

Not a single pleco. I took out the only fish who might be a culprit which was a striated botia loach.

I do not know if he sucks slime coat, but I have seen him harass a few of my bichirs and eels, so I went ahead and moved him out. The only other fish in the tank are 3 small tire-track eels (6-7 inches), 2 Albino Polypterus Senegalus a black knife ghost fish, and a rope fish.

Well, I do not know what the cause was but the area that turned white on my senegalus is back to normal now. Loach is still in another tank for the time being. I think he is going to be going to a friends tank more suited for him as I have seen him nip at my fire eel in the other tank already. Could be that this individual loach is just a real jerk >.>
