Difference in African tiger fish and goliath African?

Just saw a vendor was getting African tiger fish in but didn't specify if they were goliath. Pure curiosity here on if there's a difference or if they're getting these awesome monsters in!

There are multiple species of ATF. I believe 4. Gatf, tatf, vatf and batf. Gatf can grow to 6-8' in the wild and aren 't really suited for private aquaria long term. I also believe there is a sticky in the Characins section for properly id'ing them with some nice pics too.

There could be. Those are the only ones you really see available though. I'm sure theres quite a few sub species it species yet to be identified.
