Sharing my 600 Gallon Ray tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Interesting to see the flowerhorns in there. Your setup has changed a lot but still unique. How's the food bill?

The two normal Oscars weatgerm gave me are stupid pigs. I need to give them away or sell cheap but have been lazy, I do like the color of one alot but they enjoy being together so much I hate selling just one

Thanks much, That ray is actually a 3\4 Mantilla 1/4 motoro hybrid, AKA - FATTY, hopefully the pups come out more like her brothers which looked like normal mantillas but either way ohh well. She started out the smallest out of everyone and now is the largest, the actual motoro in the tank was 10 inches and she was about 5-6 inches about a year ago. She does love to eat and goes on tantrums if she knows someone else is getting food and not her. Fun fish even if she might eat me out of house.

Nice video, great quality. Everyone looks very happy. That motoro is one hefty lady haha.

You have a good mix of fish there, do you get much poop accumulate over on the left where you have that pot and few bricks?

I quite like the oscars and their markings, i think you should keep them :D
I very much like the Kel and his little nuchal hump - the Xingu is of course very pretty also

Very nice tank, with a lot of healthy fish ... looks like a very active and fun tank to watch ... nice job

Thanks, the rays actually are able to stir up all the junk in the tank everywhere, I never clean it at all, all I do with this tank is clean the filter socks and nothing else. Good flow is key to any tank and keeping it clean.
