How long for jardini to outgrow

Hey guys. If i get a jardini around 5" i will grow it out in a 40b then put it in a 150g. How long would it be able to live in there until i need to upgrade. Thanks!

Couple months at most in the 40b and you could probably do a couple of years in the 150 depending on dimensions.

Its just a regular 72x18. Or would a 4x2x2 120 be better for a while

I have a 6/2/2 and I sold my Jar when it hit 12" in 8months. It just look too small for it but it could had lived in it for another year. I didn't want it to be Cramp. I would say at least a 8/2/2, a wider footprint be be better

Ok thanks! I found a cheap complete setup 180g $400 and wanted to know how long it would be ok in there.
