H. deppi have the red markings on the face. You fish lacks these. I have never seen a H. deppi photo that did not have the red markings.
Could it be an H. Deppi?!

No. That's what he looks like at all times. When he's mad, he gets darker.

How big is this guy? It really looks like h. Deppi, but the red and baring look Mayan. My deppi is extremely aggressive btw.

He/she is 4-5". I have a Mayan as well and this guy looks more like my Texas if anything.

Hmmm that makes me think hybrid for sure. It could be a mix of anything when labeled as "red Texas".
