A dog is treated as an opponent not a weapon. If a dog attacks you are justified in using deadly force against the dog, not against the owner. Like I said initially, from the given information he may get manslaughter if the jury believes he thought he was justified but was mistaken.

So he yelled at the car with his arm in the air so what. Jude didn't say he feared his dog he claimed he had a bat or pipe in his hand.

Interesting national media is not covering this story black guy shoots and kills white guy claims self defense.

I'm not saying I don't agree with you 2 but if you're his lawyer, would you not include that angle? This is over a year ago. Plenty of time to pour ovee the evidence and set your defense

You think Jude's self-defense claim is justified. You believe what he says that Daniel had a bat and he felt his life was in danger so he had to shoot him.

Back in the day people fought for various reasons, and one person would win and one would lose and that was the end of it. Now a days cowards look for the smallest reasons to pull their guns and shoot someone else and its ridiculous.

Some similarities are being drawn between this and the Zimmerman case. These kids were in their car though, so there definitely was no physical altercation. Wonder if it will get the same attention...

Seems obvious race is the biggest factor that blew the trayvon case up and here we have the opposite.
