Big fan of the Dorado/wolf combo here...... Did you have any issues with them getting along?

Absolutely, my big old mala hated everyone(including me). The wolf almost took out my dorado once but it survived and ended up getting too big and fast for the wolf to bite again.
I'd think the Dorado would turn the tables once it got big though...... Do you still have them?
I just love the toughness of both these fish. No need to worry about freak out sessions, smacking themselves to death on tank sides or lids. Kind of ruins it for me when I have to walk on eggshells around a tank in order not to spook or startle the "toothier" Characins..... My Dorado is always first to come straight at me when I walk up to the tank. Just wish they weren't so dang mean to others of their species... lol
Actually the dorado was getting bullied by the brycon but the tables turned when the dorado put on some size. I lost the whole tank when someone turned off the surge protector when I was away for a couple of days. This was a tough community they were very aggressive and not skittish at all so I really wasn't expecting it to last....they killed off or ate any dithers I put in, and I couldn't think of anything else aggressive enough and large enough to balance the tank out a little better.
Mela, I had 3 and he killed the others and I never seen them for sale again. The tank was 180g.
