Painting the bottom of a tank.

True that! Looking to see the outcome of this. Thanks for doing this King!.

And yes, Krylon fusion seems to be the paint to use. I recently painted 2 small pieces of acrylic to put on the sides of my puffer tank because she was trying to kill her own reflection and I actually the new camouflage line by krylon. It comes in Ultra flat and it looks pretty damn good.

I actually have a couple bottles layin around But I only have a 2 day time frame to paint before fish are being moved in. Ya think it will dry and be fish safe that fast?

Well it's about 3/4 full but I just realized something while filling it up... the back panel has a clear strip at the bottom too since the trim goes a few inches up lol. Should've noticed that before but I guess that's how all glass tanks painted from the outside would be. It creates a white strip along the back edge thats stands out pretty bad though. So definitely paint from the inside if you're going bare with a painted bottom lol. I just shut off the pytho so I'll post some pics in a sec

Sweet thanks again for doing this!

Also I gotta factor in the fact that I HAVE AWFUL luck with diatom issues. They never seem to go away and I doubt the paint could handle my algea scrubber once a week :/. Maybe I better just stick with the outside.

That doesnt look bad at all! Appreciate your research for me bro. Gonna do the outside rather than the inside like I said above I think if scratch the heck out of it scrubbing the glass as much as I have too.
