My Armies prefer sticks

I pretty much just threw them in without soaking or anything. I guess they were really hungry. I always soak them for my ATFs but this time I was doing it because I thought they would be starving. And they were.

So I just checked the tank and I threw in about 10 or so sticks and between the 3 armies they're all gone. So obviously they're eating.

lucky, my armatus wouldn't even get close to any pellets. Tryed hikiri carnvores and aro sticks with absolutely no luck.

How long did you starve them for? Mine went over 2 weeks straight.

Are they floating sticks? Do u turn off your filter when u feed?

Yup floaters. Nope left all filters and current fans on. It gives them more movement so may be more enticing. Who knows. They were probably so hungry they didn't care.

Awesome bro! Every time I've managed to get my predators onto Hikari sticks they absolutely stopped eating everything else. I love how well they eat the pellets!

Lucky! I wish mine would do that. I'm still trying to get mine not to freak out whenever I walk up to the tank!

Mine freaks out a little. Spend more time in front of the tank and add current.

There's already a lot of current in the tank. I was told the opposite though about looking at the tank. I was told to not go in front of it except for feeding time so that they start to associate me with food.

I think yours is quite a bit bigger than his is, too. A bigger fish could certainly wait longer.

Yes, that is true too. But if they're freaked out by your presence they won't be eating either. First get them to eat then get them to not freak out.
