Well it said at the beginning of the movie that it was based on a true story and I didn't believe it so I looked it up. Apparently Lorraine Warren is still alive to this day and she says that the movie was accurate to what really happened. Here's a picture of lorraine and ed warren and the doll, Anabelle.

The warrens also investigated the Amityville horror house. Remember towards the end of the movie where she said they had a case on Long Island? I live on long island so I had to look it up lol

I had a raggedy Ann doll in my garage from when I was little. I'm not sure if its still out there but I'm not looking for it lol

I heard it lead the box office over the weekend, something like 42 mil brought in on a film that cost 2 mil to make.

Let's sell all our fish equipment and create our own horror film then split the profits

I'll be our token black guy who dies before the credit even rolls

i'll be the smart Asian guy that suddenly figures out how to kill the monster. but I only last about half way thru the movie

I give us a fool proof get rich quick plan and a great opportunity to have some fun in the lounge talking script and it goes largely unnoticed for days. Disappointed in you mfk

well, I started a pretty interesting topic about Olympian booty and that went no where pretty quick. a couple of years ago that would've started a domino affect that would've shot the views and posts way up until it got locked.

now, not so much

Did anybody see the scene of the movie that lorraine warren was in? it was the part that the actors that played ed and lorraine where talking at some sort of seminar were the mom of the family was at and the old lady sitting in the front was the real lorraine warren. Did anyone else notice that?

Saw The Conjuring last night. The theater was packed and the movie was okay but nothing special...same ol stuff you always see in these kinds of films, people seeing strange visions, doors slamming, furniture being hurled across a room...all of that is so overused in the horror genre.
