I saw the preview for 47 Samurai starring Keanu Reeves.It looks like its going to be pretty good.

I didn't like the protector much. bought the dvd when it came out and was very disappointed. and those that don't think tony jaa uses wire-fu is wrong. he does. I watched ong bak 3 last night. plenty of wire-fu used. he seemed like he gained some weight too.
krich, I never heard of 47 samurai. I'll look into it, but Keanu reeves being in it raises a red flag with me
edit: sounds interesting. didn't know it was based off real life stuff although reeves' part was created for the movie.
where's akuma when you need him to give backstory on the 47 ronin, greatest warriors of any country of any era, of the all powerful super japan?

Lol oh yeah...that's a thread topic that's tailor made for Akuma....Sumo if you haven't already you can google the movie and you can find movie trailer...It kind of reminds me of a Japanese version of 300.
just saw the youtube trailer. didn't know it was gonna have sci-fi and supernatural stuff. I thought was gonna be more realistic like the last samurai with tom cruise. but that lady turning into a dragon was pretty tight.

One guy who I wouldn't mind being in the film is Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa...He has that sinister look to his face and he's played a few good villain roles in the past but I haven't seen much of him recently.
that's true on his looks. I liked his character in Rising Sun with westly snipes and sean connery. but it was kind of lame how he died.
I don't remember him in that one but I just remembered that he was Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat.
he was one of their suspects in the murdering of that blonde chick. a surveillance showed him getting it on with her before killing her in the conference room but the video was tampered with and it wasn't him.
