HELP! Arowana is sick.

Thanks for the info ,i will do that .The arowana is eating on daily basis( twice a day since i got it) feed him on aro sticks and guppy .
Will keep updating his progress.

Yes ,i am aware of the dimensions of the tank for an adult arowana . Its 4.5 inches at the moment ,was planning to update his tank at he gets bigger.

yes trates can be at 0 but no way all 3 readings will be 0 unless you filled the tank 5 minutes before testing.

Even in a planted tank, nitrates shouldnt go to zero. Nitrates can be low level. but not 0.

Oh yes they can, there are people that even dose their planted tanks with nitrates among other ferts.

Your new tank got too much height...High chances for ur Aro to get a Drop eye or Dropsy tail....arowanas dont need height , they just need more width and length to grow properly Keep ur water parameters well and increase the temp to 30-32 degree centigrade and also put some Tetracylin(capsule with yellow powder) and obverse ur fish well..It should be well in no time soon
