How can I export and sell freshwater Fishes Overseas?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
^ Isnt it against the law of to import a lot of the rare or asian aro's into the US?

I was thinking with all the different rules and regulations for each country and each of the individual states is where the real hassles come in...

I mean packing a fish and finding a shipper is easy, jumping trough all the hoops and getting all the right paper work done is where its going to be a real PITA...

For the single buyer it would be shipping would be expensive. Its only profitable when you can ship alot of fish at once. Your best bet would be to sell to a dealer a vendor someone who can buy lots of fish in one order. As much as many of us would love to get the great prices shipping cost is not practical for just a few fish. I would contact some of the Vendor here see what you can offer them.

Hey bruh sorry for the late reply. I'm dealing with all these paperwork and permission right now, It wasn't really as hard as I thought. I've been contacting some fish farmers here and I've made my own price list. I'm thinking of making a website ASAP!! gonna share it here when it's done. can't wait to hit the international market!! Well it would be great if you can introduce me to a big dealer / buyer :)

for normal fish the huge plastic bag last for 2 days only and the fish will be really stressed .. but goldfish can last longer buy useing a nice method and the method is frozen the fish .. here in my country we froze goldfhis and put them in bags that make them last 5 days :) and they can handle very low temp

Fish should be sedated when shipped otherwise there is too much stress for fish and could happen that it would die during transport..

Big buyer - what about lfs there?

Did you already sort out the paper work for exporting fish to places like the US already?

If so, what sort of paper work did you have to sort out? Since i was always curious what it would take to send fish from Asia to places like the US / Australia / Canada etc...

Yea.. I'm still trying to master my 'fish packing' technique right now. Been seeing couple videos of how people are arranging plastic bags inside a styrofoam box lol. Just found out that I need a heatpack if the destination place is cold.
Well, I could possibly supply fish to LFS here but it wont be making as much money as exporting. Beside LFS here have their own link to local fish farmers.
