Put em in the closet on a rack if your heart is set on duping your landlord. I personally wouldn't do it, unless she said NO tanks, then hell yeah I'd be a sneaky slag about it.

As a fellow fishkeeper (and landlord), when your cool landlord tells you, "enough fish tanks"...and then you add more Rubbermaids full of fish then you're asking your landlord to get pissed at you...and become a previously cool landlord.

Just sayin'

Matt

I agree on this one, basically she has the power do something unfavorable to you when she felt that she's ignored.

Speaking of which, how is the weather in Shenzhen? I just spent a month in shanghai and the daily high didn't drop below 38c. In fact, the daily highs here in SF Bay Area is lower than the daily low temperature there.

+1.

1 tank busts and pours 40+gallons on the floor imagine how many other units under yours may have damage? Seems your landlord is nice enough as it is and your just taking advantage. I'm sure there's a clause in the lease about aquariums, probably limiting capacity and amount.

When my tank leaked 60ish gallons on the 2nd floor is took literally 2 minutes for most of the water to make it to the first floor and the 2nd floor was carpeted.

Shenzhen is over 30* from April to october. This summer is no different just more rain than usual.
