well they've reached the Great Lakes i believe, never seen one yet
They are presented in all Great Lakes and they are common...just wait for the runs in spring. But they are not same species to the ones by the Pacific. I believe we have more than 30 species of lamprey in North America, only very few species are anadroumus from saltwater to freshwater. Pacific Lamprey and Sea Lamprey are few of the anadroumus lampreys.not that I know of either, at least on ontario and erie

That´s a delicacy in my country. We pay big bucks for "lamprey rice", a specialty in portuguese cuisine.
