Fresh squids and their innards are nice. Too bad their cholesterol content is off the charts.

anyways, anyone know why eddie's "eat your pet" thread was closed? did I miss something? what was the reason for the lock?
I'm wondering why someone would find that offensive when someone eating their own pet fish is no different?
It is for me. I haven't ever eaten fish in my 21 years. I find the taste/smell disgusting. But squid.. om nom nom

The quotes about the family pets were obviously tongue in cheek jokes (on the site) but it did have a ton of recipes for cat and dog meat. I missed that part of the TOS though. Oh well, imma talk about cat meat here
Jellyfish is about the weirdest thing I've tried. By itself though it doesn't have much flavor. It's like Kalamari in texture, and carries flavors well. Which means it can taste really good with the right seasonings, or really bad (like the pickled jelly I had).
