AquaBid? Anyone use it...any experience?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A few sellers on there are former MFK vendors...aquaticstreasure is one that I have dealt with.

I have purchased quality native fish species (Bowfin, blue spotted and orange spotted sunfish, Warmouth and gulf coast pygmy sunfish) from Rainbowrunner and (Darters and Missouri Logear sunfish) Zimmermans through Aquabid. (Just so I could supply feedback for fantastic quality hard to buy natives).

Like another poster said, I prefer to deal with every dealer directly however.

I normally check the buyers ratings. But look closely at who posted them. Some people have awesome ratings but its the same person over and over so it loooks like they are good. I dont deal with those.

I am pretty much the same as most who posted on here. I've used it several times, if I can go direct I perfer to do that but I've also bought through listings. I have had nothing but positive experience through aquabid. Any fish I have ordered through there has been fine. Just like anysite though scammers are always around so you just got to be careful and do your research. I look at ratings and who they were posted by and what was positive or what issues they had, etc. Some on there are or were members and or vendors of mfk. Just do your research first. I will usually e-mail the seller asking them questions before I buy too.

+1, I've never had any issues but I always try to do some homework first. And remember, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
