I just don't get them... I guess that they are the closest thing that you can get to an asian cichlid. To me they seem skittish and the whole ''stability'' thing is just beyond me. You have great taste in fish. If you want something that is a bit ''datish'' but with more personality, and from the new world, look into caquetia myersi. Awesome little cichlids !!

I sure eat enough Chinese food...Rob I agree with you on the Caquetia...good looking little cichlid that I will try some day.
 
"little"? they can get to a foot long, Rob.
I've just been wondering about the Dat allure. you never see people posting what they act like, it's always food or being stable. I can totally imagine what aclockwork described :-)
 
They can get to two feet in length and they can be quite agrressive when they get some size on them.

You know what I'm sayin.... I guess I have only kept them up to 7''...
 
no rob & krich, I meant C myersi get to a foot long. not 'little' compared to my stock.
