My new breeding pair of red devils

So I got these guys in Craig's list along with some peacocks and 3 white convicts. I absolutely love this pair. They have tried to spawn a week after I got them but then they ate all the eggs. New home jitters. Anyway they are about to try again in a few days it looks like. Tell me what you think of them.

Beautiful - check their tubes - they look like two girls to me, but I can only see one in the pics, which would explain the egg-eating.

They were still parenting a batch of fry when I got them and they have spawned for there previous owner 4 times. I think they were just nervous from the move to there new home, with different ph and harness. My water is hard and they came from a soft water home. Also I watched them spawn last time and the white one drops the eggs and the Orange one drops a cloud of semen.

With that look of female..u can have chances of getting 'tancho' look..plain white color with round shape of orange..in koi fish round shape is red on top of head with plain white body..ressemble japan flag..anyway it just my opinion..good luck..

So they have spawned about 24 hours ago, being very good parents this time around. They won't leave the best even for food, and last time they already ate there eggs by now. So I think in a few days we will have some wiggling fry
