my lfs only has red and gold. I see pics of peoples on here and they are breath taking, aquabid isn't any help. I need a 6 in plus fish as mine are descent to Adult size. any help is greatly appreciated.

He lists some jumbo Heros severus for sale. His home page likely has a photo for reference as well, or you can ask him.

Jeff Rapps always seems to have options for people with larger fish. Other good option being Ebay, you can find some on there from small volume breeders that don't have their own sites
 
I actually have a pair of true Heros severus that I'm selling but they're probably a little too large to ship for a reasonable price.
 
thanks yall, I found Jeff selling some but no pics, my blood parrots have gone crazy and my angels are getting nipped so my girlfriends mom is taking angels and my buddy is taking parrots. SO I want my big community fish to be severums. I have a red, gold and odd purple, so want to add 2x more really extravagant colors.

Email Jeff. He will happily send you pics. He does it for me all the time when I can't find the pics on his page. My only other advice is keep an eye on Aquabid or Craigslist because most stores don't sell them that large.

I have only made 2 purchases from Jeff in the last two years with a total of 3 species. I have asked him for info and pics for over a dozen different species. On my last purchase (a little over a month ago), I emailed him my intended order and then called him to place the order, but the list of fish was completely different. I apologized for my constant need for information and photos. He said he gets that sort of thing all the time and 90% of his emails are not for sales, but for questions. So email me and ask for the pictures. He doesn't mind....especially if it leads to a sale. And I have seen his pictures of the Heros severus and they are beautiful fish. I am a severum collector and they are high on my list of fish to acquire next. :)
