My last group of midas grow outs (mixed sex, 14 in total) were kept in a 125. By the time they were 4 inches the dom male was already chasing most of them from one end of the tank to the other, relentlessly at times. He now flies solo in that tank.

Fortunately I do not have that problem so far. However, only one of the nine are female and they have been raised together.
I wasn't thinking in my original post. Ultimately I'd like to keep the nicest male and female together and then the remaining males in another tank. What size tank is recommended for seven adult male midas?

LOL. No. Nine 7 inch cichlids in a 63 gallon tank. This is probably the worst thing I've read on this forum. I have an 7-8 inch midevil that's about to be put into a 75..... alone.
