I think as popular as they are on site/forums such as this one a lot of fish keepers who don't come on here may not know about them.
ya think it's because ppl don't know about them, or maybe only crazy mfker guys want to keep those things in tanks.

It'd be a drag to raise something for so long, knowing it'll have to be disposed of.
I suppose you could miss their big smile. Lol.

Yeah, I read an article recently that said their supposed habit of swimming up people's urethra is mostly, if not completely, a myth.

I came across a Tridensimilis brevis, Dwarf Glass Candiru Parasitic Catfish..neat little fish this guy possibly lives off of slime coats of fish he is fun.

Nah he lives in my 9g planted Heterandria formosa tank, no problems yet..he pigs out on grindal worms and micro worms had him about 2 months now.

would love to get a hold of more of them!
 
I thought they attached themselves parasitically to other fish?
