Little help ? - sorry its a cichla ID thread

These guys were rehomed as Tems, supposedly from Rapps. One of them is moving to my house, my first Cichla!They really are beautiful.

Tems don't have that coloration till they're huge. That's adult/spawnin colors.

Not to mention, look at the 3rd bar of the pic you posted, it's a normal bar, where as pins usually a round-ish blotch like OPs.

What we need to remember is that Tems and pins are very similar in size, shape and at some juvie points almost look the same. A Pin is kinda like a dirty barred Tem, Tems are usually cleaner bars throughout there growth. Jeff wouldn't have sold these as Tems, he would sell a pin for a pin, because he's honest and can get a higher price for pins.

No pins, I'm as sure as I get. And I'm also questioning they came from Rapps. My post could've been interpreted both way sorry.

They are pinima.
And im sure they arent from Rapps. Cause like bassguy said. Rapps is a stand up vendor and would sell them for what they are.
Unlike a few of the vendors on here.
