Fresh Tank Shots

They're my favorite fish. They eat themselves to oblivion, never stop swimming, and don't bother smaller tankmates provided they can't eat them. These are Hampala Macrolepidota ... I'm on the hunt for their cousins, Hampala Dispar. I highly recommend this species. My only gripe is their incredibly slow growth.

I wouldn't mind the slow growth. A lot of my fish aren't exactly the fastest growing fish either. And I really want the macros but I would settle for some dispar if I had the chance. I only have mahseers but I can say the hampalas are definitely one of my favorite barbs. Great video by the way.

Mahseers are next on my list man. These bigger predatory cyprinids really do it for me. I wish fish out of India were easier to come by. I'd love a couple Tor Putitora and Khudree swimming in my tank.

Go down to the passaic river , all the carp you could ask for...lol

JK tank looks good. I wasnt sure how the barbs would turn out, but you pulled it off.

I have 3 neolissochilus stracheyi and a putitora. I would love to get a hold of different species of mahseers and the hampalas. How come you didn't jump on Wes's recent shipment of putitora?

Good looking tank, thanks for sharing.

Money is tight right now. In a few weeks ill be making some BIG changes.

I see. Fish like this don't come by everyday so I had to get it. Can't wait to see what your big changes will be.
