I need some opinions and comments on this FH

Not sure what he is, Zz or RD, I do not own hm a fried does. What I wanted to know is opinions, is he a good grade, low grade, run of the mill FH. Would you spend your time raising him in hopes to breed him one day? Does he look like he may have breeding potential? Hes about 3 to 4 inches right now. Any comments would be great, thanks.

ZZ and RD, SRD or Red Dragon are all the same-ZZ is the strain of FH the originate from. He is not a bad starter fish if your buddy is just getting into them. Grading he would be in the middle some place not horrible but not high either. Like I said a great starter fish if your friend is just getting into them and same for 1st time breeding attempt if he is fertile.
 
...I LIKE IT ...I THINK ILL GRADE IT AS AN "C+"...AND IF BRED WIT A BETTER FEMALE (if he fertile)...WILL PRODUCE FRYS ILL LOVE TO SEE...SO KEEP THE PICS COMMING...AND TELL YOUR FRIEND.."GOOD LUCK"...

Thats what I said, hes a starter fish at best which means trying to breed this with a good female will just bring the good genes of the female down, not compliment.

Thats the thing, he has bred cichlids for years so he should know better....lol. Hes just being cheap. I think because in years past hes gotten lucky with shop fry that have turned out well, hes holding out with hope for this one.
 
Well....its like u said metalslug...hes not new to the breeding game......and he's got lucky wit raiseing some good frys...maybe ..he seen something in this guy that he liked and can transform it to become one of the good ones like the past times....Doyou happen to kno what kind of food hes useing...because i heard and seen that... AR-5000 BIO CICHILD MIX...works wonders on all types of cichlids ..especaily on flowerhorns....( I had to plug in AR-5000 BIO CICHLID MIX.) : )
