What can I breed in a 20 gallon long?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wat did u mean by weren't comfortable? seems a bit odd to see in a fish..When I first started fishkeeping, I kept three in a ten gallon for bout three years. Then I moved em to a 30, and they simply died off. water quality was fine along with acclimation. I find these smaller fish which peeps say should be in thirty gals do well in ten to five gals

Not comfortable, constant bickering between the pair, stress coloration when water quality was within acceptable range. The female getting bugged by the male at all times. Moved them to a 55 and all that stopped. I personally only thing that deserve a 10 gallon is bettas, and small schooling fish. I wouldn't put any fish in a 5 but that's just me.
Now sorry for derailing OPs thread. Do tell what you decided on?

There is this one shop that sells betas but they aren't just any betas they are really huge like 4 inches and I think I'm going to breed them they want anywhere from 20-60 bucks for each one !!

I don't know it's labeled as a king beta I know that this is not a type of beta but that's what they have it labeled as its in this mom and pop type of store and they sometimes have em in they are Awesome!! I don't know if they are wild or not they are just sitting in jars like all of the others just in a different section they keep them in a little bit bigger jars I don't know their exact species name or common name all I know is they are big and they want a lot for them so they must be worth something to breed I'm just going to try to breed them like I did any other beta there is a picture I'm going to post that will give you a rough idea how big they are compared to normal betas it the bigger beta still looks a little smaller than what they have in the store
