Good Peacekeepers or dithers?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I also used to crowd haps and mbuna and green sunfish and no one got killed... will that work with CA sa

I've done that with mbuna as well with good results.

Not much experience with pikes though, but I would imagine anything that won't fit in their mouths but fit your tank. Same water requirements.

What size tank?

Size tank is a 75 long. I just talked to the person im buying from and he says they get along when they all have hiding spots. But i still want something else just in case... Do you guys recommend target fish or a "peace keeper"? i think a large jag would be cool or some bala sharks and silver dollars or pictus cats maybe or even convicts!!!

How wide is the tank? Wouldn't recommend jags as peacekeepers mine keeps the peace but it's also responsible for injuries to others 80% of the time balas may work. Convicts are little butt heads and start a lot of crap lol

Tank is around 1.5 feet not completely sure. These pikes probably could hold their own imo. There is a video of an adult trying to attack someones hand through the glass. Convicts are fun they breed like crazy and provide parasite free snacks. Never had a bala before though. I once had a large pictus and it was cool pretty active and could take a beating

Most peacekeepers will outgrow a 75 unfortunately.....No jag either.

Gonna be tough finding something the pikes won't eat. Sd's maybe but they get pretty big....

Hey um if you read the whole thread, I inform everyone that I'll be upgrading... 4 adult pikes can't fit in a 75 gallon anyways as you probably can figure out lol.

Then it'll depend on the upgrade. I just assumed you were shooting for a pair of pikes.
