Hey all,

Well I did my first mow :) I drained approx. 75-80% of the water before I started. I then started filling the tank but very slowly. It took approx. 34-60 mins from start to finish. I found the kitchen scissors good for leveling larger areas. I like the plants shears I got from Henry, but the handle was too long for my comfort. I like the other end though :) Nice and sharp.

Need to get a finer net for the smallest hg cuttings... But was fairly easy to net up. I trimmed and then netted, and then rinse and repeat lol

Hey all,

A quick pic post trim. This is 24 days after setup. Added 25 otto affinis and 50 red cherry shrimp. so far so good.

Hey!

Thanks for the lovely compliments! I am also digging the single species look, although there are other fish in the tank. And a few more to be added, but will inhabit the rocks and substrate areas and will not school with the cardinals...
