They're doing great, see if I can get some pics when I get home later. And I have just the 2 of them in a 55.. figured tankmates wouldn't survive.

So hello I am new and I have a Green Spotted puffer for about 3 months now in my Freshwater fish with 5 Zebra and 2 guppies. Now I have been going over the internet like mad and trying to find out which puffer I have. Now there is 2 different species being sold Green Puffer(t. fluviatilis) and Spotted Green Puffer (T. nigroviridis) and I read that the Nigrovirdis is more a of a freshwater to brackish version and the Fluviatillis is Brackish to Full Salt I am trying to figure out which one I have here is a pic.
You have a T. nigroviridis (green spotted puffer). They have less but larger spots than the green puffer. You're gonna want to raise the salinity to 1.020 by the time they are adults.

You've been misinformed. The T fluviatilis is the Ceylon puffer. Similar but grows a bit larger. Both perfer high-end BW & then marine conditions as adults.
