I think you are missing the point. Me starting my own thread is no different to the southern delight thread or this one. They started a thread to discuss said foods and in you came. Ive no doubt that if I started a thread you would stay away. To prove a point. If this discussion had never happened I'd have been willing to bet you'd have swooped had someone dare contradict or even question your dogma

Ian ...... I found exactly what you seem to be looking for.

http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?552773-Best-Fish-Foods

Started by my good buddy JW. I even posted in it, never once mentioned NLS, or for that matter commented on anything related to pellet feed of any brand. I know, you probably had already read all that boring info that I supplied in that thread, too.

Funny part is, I never saw you take part in that discussion. As far as that goes, what exactly have you contributed to this particular subject since joining MFK? Anything? Yet you feel that you somehow have the right to question me, and attempt to tell me what & what not I should be doing on an open public forum. That's funny.

Maybe you could go bump that thread up & discuss foods from the UK? Or SE Asia, or whatever floats your boat.

There's solution # 2, and you don't even have to start your own thread.

I'm sorry, which person here would you like to discuss this matter with, the manufacturer, or his pal pongo? Pongo has clearly provided you with almost everything one could imagine that you would want to ever know about his close friends food. Yes? Is there more you would like to know about this food that can't be purchased where you live, unless you want to pay shipping & VAT from Canada? lol What a farce.

And while you may think that you have read all this before, clearly you haven't being paying attention because a number of the things that I have brought up in this particular discussion I have never discussed before, on any public forum. So while you personally may not be interested in reading it, I'm quite certain that many others are. In fact, I know they are because they have said just that. :)

Sorry Ian, this thread isn't just about you, either.

Allow me to offer you another solution to your apparent problem. Why don't you start your own little food thread, and discuss everything food related to your hearts content, and I promise not to hijack your thread with any of my boring facts. In fact, I promise to not even read it.

There you go, problem solved.

Haha love it;)

This is like an infomercial for northfin, good quality products don't need advertising, they sell themselves! But seriously try QVC late night lol

Went threw the whole thread and I can say I will never recommend a food where the owner worked for NLS and basically tried* to copy it with his own gimmicky formula. That is just a sad kick in the nuts and a profit driven individual(s) IMO.

Id Rather obtain my food from honest and proper manufacturers/suppliers that have nothing to hide. I've raised various piranhas, catfish, guppies etc on NLS. Just shows its diversity. And if RD's facts ruffle any one's feathers then you just can't accept facts!

Of course you didn't mention it. Nobody questioned or dared compare anything else to it. I contribute to any subject here on mfk when I feel I have something to add. Not for the sake of it cus I cant let things go. I don't know if we have any foods of our own. Maybe king British, but who knows. I do believe that king british catfish pellets are on a par with NLS though.

Neil's knowledge convinced me to try NLS, my results is why I made it the only food I've used for the last nearly 3 years. I've never had any fish flat refuse to eat it, some have taken quite a long time to train( some wild caught orinos took a month of starving but in the end they gave in and then thrived on it.) I've kept various cichlids, rays, arowanas, datnoids, and catfish and they have all thrived on NLS alone. No supplements and nothing else. Literally hundreds of fish in that time all fed NLS exclusively and never have I not eventually trained even the most stubborn wild caught fish to eat it. If and when the day comes that something topples it's throne and has been proven to be superior, I will switch over pending I like the results. I would ditch it in a heartbeat. But that hasn't happened yet and likely won't for a long time. I'm sure even Neil would switch over if something more superior hit the market.

Not disputing his knowledge. Not disputing the quality of the food/ingredients. On a side note if I was faced with a choice of starving to death or eating a certain food I know what id do lol.
