That's an awesome story!! We drove to Alaska from Wisconsin in 2006. I fell madly in love with Canada!! I hope to go back someday.
Kels,are you from Alaska?
I'd love to visit Montreal, but unfortunately, all of my friends, and desire to go, is in Alberta or British Columbia :/ Maybe I'll visit it one dayWhen you get here you need to check out Montreal, but not for fish though lol. You would be coming to enjoy the food and parties(along with a fantastic selection of ladies).

I have no relationship with my father, but my mother does not want me to move so far away, and she'd rather I stay in Georgia. But, I have to live my life, and their wishes are not something I am going to take into consideration. This will make me happy.Good story, very interesting. How do your parents feel about your desire to move away?

That's a brilliant story, good luck for the future although by the sound of it you have enough about you to not rely on luck alone.
i wish you the greatest of luck! The university of Calgary is a great school so i've heard. I'm just wondering but do you need to take a special test like an SAT for an American to attend a Canadian school?
Canada is a great place to start off fresh. So many friendly people and opportunities. The oil industry is booming so there are jobs there.
