My Cichlids Sharing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I adore the severum, and electric blue jack dempsey :) Very nice!

nice tank and fish but aren't u concerned about the whole water conditions thing as in the frontosa and others are from the opposite sides of the earth

thanks for sharing the video. fish are pretty & look healthy for now. it's good that you also have larger tank too.
I would consider moving out that big cave, it's using up lots of space, If you have something else to break up their sight from each other...perhaps large leafed fake plants.
Happy fishkeeping!

Thanks for the concern, I have a large tank standby.

Why is it on stand by? Get that thing running!

But I'm gonna say this :
Fronts do way better with more fronts, in a large tank (125+).
Geophagus cichlids should also be kept in groups in tanks that have a sand substrate. They're also know as earth eaters and don't enjoy trying to sift though stones or gravel.
The severum and ebjd should be ok together.

I'm telling you this because I'm assuming you did little research on the fish you're housing in that tiny tank.
They are pretty fish though.

Thanks for all the concern & suggestion. The tank that finally house them in 6ft x 2ft x 2ft. This tank is only 16 inches x 16 inches x 24 inches height & I m using it as a tank to house my newly bought fishes until it grow to a larger size to house in the large tank wth my other larger cichlids.
