I don't know much about piranhas but I think I recall reading that they do some kind of spawning run.Good luck and keep us updated.

Thank you! I would love to try to find a nother tig or aro but I just think the timming I sent good and I need to be able to regaine my comfadence first befor I look at trying again. Some times.. .simply aren´t our times. And I have suffered the same in the last couple of months.
After a 2 week vacation, I came home to a dead 180g tank. Lost all the 20 C.Loaches (2 of 7.5 and 9"), a 20" fire eel and 5 bala sharks...The tank had been checked by a friend hobbyist one week before and it was ok.
Left home for the weeken and lost the female festae (bloat); 2 weeks later, another weekend out and the male died.
So, I know the feeling. And it isn´t good.
we just have to try to see what was wrong (other than karma) and move on

That's ruff having the entire tank go down like that. It's getting to the point I'm scared to get out of bed in the morning to see if everyone's ok. It's just a sickening feeling.
Rbp are very Hardy and they can over come a lot but keeping 8-12 long term ain't gonna cut it in a 125gal. Not to sound like a dick but imo and ime 6 max for that size! Spawning will be harder with less territory for pairing up when there's piranhas around every corner.

Sad losses. Sorry to say but overstocking the tank sounds like the first start to the issues above. Give the fish more room to swim and stock less and it will make it easier on you also you will be amazed that your system will look much better as well.
