Sharing my 600 Gallon Ray tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks much. Things have been busy here but everything is going good. Have to love a drip system for all going well. Just a side note the setup is now the 600 gallon plus the 400 gallon tied together running out of the one sumps media. Its all about 1060 gallons together. Still running the same hot cold drip system and the tanks are staying at 79 degrees.

I have a hard time remembering but I want to say she is 2.5 years old at this point maybe a little more.
Ya the bass are cool looking but overall a pain in my side at times. Ohh well.

That's fantastic to look at - i really like the Jaguar, how old is she?

The Kelberi is nice too.

Nice update. It does look like the rays have been busy. Who got the flowerhorns tail? The other horn or a ray?

Awesome combo of bass and rays!
The flowerhorns even look good in there.
have you tried any ATF or armatus in there yet?

And how about some sump/filtration pics.
FTS shots and shots of the 2 tanks that are tied together...?

Probably the xingu bass. They are friends at times but mostly like to chase each other.

Full tanknshots are really hard to do but when I get a chance ill take one. ATF would be really cool and if I didnt want to focus on rays so much I would probably have some. I just worry about a pup being born in this tank. That's why I needed other space available for expecting mothers and pups. The bass are cool but I have a love hate relationship with them. Hate catching them as they always bang the glass. Hate dealing with one that is not eating right now. Hate how skittish they are at times. Love that they look great. Love that they can be easy to feed. Love that they are green as its my favorite color. love that they mix well with rays. Love that during hand feeding they will come right up to me just as the rays do.
The filtration is still the same as always other then im using 5 32inch filter socks right not.

Great pics! Love that light based mantilla in 10,11,15,16.

Glad the setup addition went smooth. Definitely helpful for separating.
