That is the coolest JD color variation I have ever seen. Insane. I would also like to say that there are some truly monster Dempseys on this thread. The biggest I have seen in the "wild" here in Florida are only four and a half inches. Cool stuff guys.

He's a little under a year old now around 6" long and just beginning to loose the last of his juvenile/yellow coloration. He's been a very cool fish to watch grow up and go through his color variations, I can't wait to see how he ends up in another year or so.
