I don't know why, you have such gorgeous planted tanks yourself.
When I used lights that grow plants, the algae was intolerable.

Nice growth but it just looks tacky with no background.

here is one of my current 65g...dirty glass and all...going not black water but dark tannin stained water for the wild bettas (monster anubia in the corner)
