lol, nah. I been watching nature shows since I was a kid and only recently saw it mentioned about female hyenas and it tripped me out
I didn't know who to tell so I decided to tell the mfk community

well it's not a real penis, that's the thing. but the female hyena urinates, copulates and gives birth through the mock penis
when i was younger I've always saw hyenas in the nature shows and always thought of them as just a bunch of thieves and scavengers but they actually have a very complex society similar to primates in terms of group size, structure, competition and cooperation. a female matriarch is the leader of a clan and her female young automatically inherits the throne when she comes of age as long as the mother is still alive and still the matriarch. if the matriarch has more than one female young, as soon as they are able to, the stronger cub kills any rival female siblings cubs and the adult hyenas don't intervene. its crazy
