Anyone following Elio motors??

I hate hybrids (too expensive not good enough mpg) and plug in cars (too expensive, sucky range). Enter Elio. 84mpg highway. 6800 starting price. Cant wait to see it come to market. Guy I know has a down payment on one.

I wouldnt say unpractical. My drive to work is 250 miles round trip. At a meager 6800 bucks, id say for people like me its great.
