hey guys im planning a 300 gallon stock tank in my basement and i was wondering how much water would evaporate from a tank this size and if i really need a humidifier, and if i really do what size 30 pints or 80 pints?

Thanks guys!

I would look for a way to keep it covered, or mostly covered when I wasn't in the room. If you do that you may not need a dehumidifier. I would go with the larger one, if you need to get it. Try and find a humidity gauge to figure out where your setting ends up being. It could save you a lot in electricity. Don't try to pull the humidity below 60%. Your air is most likely about that already.
