Shouldn't all the pollution over there be able to kill them off, or did it just mutate them like a Chinese version of Mothra?
Are these the same species as the Japanese Giant Hornet? or something completely different?
Since i know in Japan they have these monsters, and they are supposedly known to go straight for your eyes when they attack... pretty nasty...

in japan, the Japanese honey bees has learned how to deal with the hornets to a certain degree. in places where they are introduced, or invade, the honey bee colonies (that have never lived around the hornets and never learned how to defend against them) are doomed. they have zero defense
the giant hornets have been seen here in the states as well
