Wait, now that i'm on my laptop and can actually see the pictures, what did you even hunt? mushrooms and tiny birds? no wonder it went unnoticed. i thought i'd see some wild game, not crap and dingleberries

i wondered the same. i mean, when hunting you look for things like that depending on what you hunt. but to take a picture of it to share on the internet is funny. maybe that's what ts was going for

i also wondered how those birds taste like

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. Was the hornet nest empty yet?

We were hunting Grouse, Woodcock, Ducks and Black Squirrels.

When I go out, pretty much anywhere in the woods, etc. I take photos of everything. The poop you see is Woodcock poop. Learning your poop will make you a better hunter. With Woodcock, usually if you don't see any poop, you wont see any Woodcock. If you see it all over, get ready to flush one any moment.

I like mushrooms/fungus, I came across these in Michigan and thought they looked awesome so I had to take photos.

I forgot to take photos of the Black Squirrels.

Hornets nest was NOT empty. We almost found out the hard way. We took a few sticks and gently hit it but nothing happened. So we figured it was empty. So my buddy attempted to shoot the limb, well it fell and then out came the Hornets, I was gone. The last one I got I found it in Dec and it was empty, was hoping this one was empty but it wasn't.

Woodcock taste like liver, I don't like it so my buddy eats them, Grouse taste amazing, especially when they are eating the blue berries, I hit one this trip, but the bird just dusted itself off and took right back off. Squirrel taste like squirrel, I shot my limit of 5. This year my shooting was bad. I use a Franchi 28 gauge, usually I'm highly accurate but not this year. Next year I'm going to use a .410 O/U. We shot Wood ducks only, we saw some Mallards, Geese, etc. but were not in range.

If we shot more birds I would have posted more game photos. We didn't run into an porks this year which is good. I did see a good 15-18" Largemouth on Grouse Haven Lake and a few small trout on Rifle River.

My buddy got nailed by a hornet or some sort. We were scouting a new lake in the woods, I got to it first, then my buddy went to the other side, well his dog started digging and out they came. Nailed him on the temple. His head was on fire the rest of the night.

There is much more out there than game to take photos of. Michigan is beautiful, I wouldn't mind living up there.
