Most annoying part of being a amphilophus enthusiast in Miami is that everyone that comes here says the same crap "oh I catch those in the canals, let me know I'll catch some for you!" No one here can appreciate anything amphilophusy argh!!

I guess it's anolog to someone here in the North East keeping Sunny's. It's almost like a native tank to the untrained observer. They can't can't see the unique attrabutes and varity within the species do the Homogeneous feral population.

Yup here any large orange or gray and barred fish in your tank is a red devil. Any! If it's a fish keeper I try to teach them the different ones but if it's some odd visitor I don't even bother.
