7'x12' Plywood Build For My Rays

thats a very good build...did u also use any wood glue or just screws??<br>will u be useing anything to stick the plywood to the wood??
 
Gonna be a nice tank ! Are freshwater rays easy to keep or get for that matter ?

The only way I can explain keeping rays is that they are difficult if you the keeper make things difficult. Otherwise they can be as easy as any other fish.

No glue is being used. If the screws alone can't hold this thing together wood glue is not going to help much.

I'm obviously in no hurry as I am still researching on DIY plywood tanks
I'd like to build the exact 2600 gallon tank here that's on the front page. But by using zavlar liquid rubber , and I'm not sure you can use this stuff on larger tanks

First off I have no idea if you can keep rays in your state. That would need to be checked. If you look in the stickies in the ray sub forum there is a thread on where rays are legal to own. If you can own them in Arkansas there are plenty of vendors on here that have and sell rays.

As for the 2700 gallon by VLdesign I have seen that tank in person and all I can say is that it is amazing. Let me check on a product and I will post it in your thread for you.
