like a large clown loach, those cost hundreds. plecs are just as cool as Jimbo loaches. i find it ridiculous people wanna pay hundreds for Jumbo loaches.

Pole, people pay hundreds for jumbo loaches because they take a long time to grow, I believe, I could be wrong but from what I heard, Clowns over 6" aren't allowed to be imported out of there native land so that'd also be a reason.

No I'll pass on the Pleco thanks though but yeah clowns grow like an inch a year maybe two in tops in perfect conditions so if u got big fish and want one you gotta pay the price.

yeah, i never understood why people payed so much for jumbo loaches when there like 6 bucks at my local petshop when there 2 inches. But i see its cause they are slow growers and people want them big. Makes sense, but i wouldnt pay that money for one. But if i can point out, common pleco's are just as slow growers. Only about an inch a year also. You dont see to many as big as mine.
