What's everyone's opinion. 150 gallon with a plumbed wet dry and an eheim canister I think 2217 and two power heads. The stock is as follows 1 Oscar 10", 2 red bay snooks 6", 1 jaguar 7", 1 jack Dempsey 6", 1 sveni pike 5" and an IT datnoid 6". Nitrates are between 20-30 ppm depending on how many wc I can do in a given week. I will one day love to get a 300 gallon but I don't know when. How long could these guys live in the tank. The jag and jd are females the snooks are a pair. There is zero aggression.

Pics off the tank
What media you are using on the filters could u add more bio media, if you have no agression u are fine just keep up w water changes

IMO prolonged nitrates over 20ppm will lead to HITH in your oscar.

20 ppm is fine.

I don't think your overstocked. And as aggression is nill you are good. Nitrates aren't perfect but livable . I would watch for rising nitrates as fish grow however. I would add another 2217.

Add two HOBs, but take any filters out. Buy two pothos from your local garden/home improvement store.

Clean the root balls of the pothos thoroughly, and add the pothos to the HOBs.

Give it a month, and your nitrates will come down

The media in the sump is bio balls in the drip part and pot scrubbers and bagged matrix in the return part. In the 2217 I have what it came with plus some matrix. I was thinking of pond matrix for the drip but I not sure if that would be better

I was thinking of that but the tank is in my basement and there is not that much light. What do pothos require as far as light.
