Haha it is very black now that I look at it I'm guessing because I was fishing a pond with a lot of weeds so maybe it was blending in with the weeds. And I was using a berkley havoc grass pig soft plastic swim bait. And the color is california which is basically green pumpkin with red flakes

Aww...he's so little. Just kidding, bigger than most of the ones that I unfortunately catch. Caught a few that were 4-5 fee though. Last one I caught was a 30 minute fight and took 12 lb drag out like there was no drag at all. Spit the hook as I was about to grab it with the aid of a rag. Roughly 5 feet long and about 6 inches wide.

Went fishing for the first time in a while. I brought my chatterbait, some fake shad and my vendetta rod and skeet reese combo. I kept it really light this time. So I actually did pretty well considering the bass are starting to go dormant because temps here are about 30 degrees in ny at night and about 50 during the day. (This weekend atleast). Casted out about 5 times and caught two decent sized 1-2 lbers. Barely. Both bass were on chatterbait.
And then what this one didn't have in length, she had in width. She was very fat.

Looks really small from the angle.
Nothing even remotely big. But I caught this nice size bullhead unexpectedly on a shad.

He looks really short from the angle but he's actually a pretty long fish. Here's another pic.

I know he's not big I was just excited to catch a catfish as I never catch them.
I haven't fished in a while as I've been hunting and here's a pic off my property for all you hunters.
