Bear is pretty darn tasty if it's done right.

My elk season isn't til the 12th of November but I did get a nice pronghorn buck already...my first time hunting them. The meat has to be done right too. All wild game does but bear and pronghorn are harder than a lot to get right. I haven't personally shot a bear.

^ right the big thing with cooking bear is EASY ON THE SALT. Bear meat already is pretty damn salty my family just uses straight leaf seasonings

Depending on the time of year, you can get more or less for a gall bladder. I have two bear gall bladders in my freezer because right now the guy that buys them is only giving $200 for them so ill wait till I can get $400+

and I had no idea about the gall bladder sell law. do you guys know why it's illegal to do that?

I believe it has to do with poaching. Bears were/are poached for the gall bladder (among other reasons), and some are even kept in captivity (horrid conditions) to harvest the bile.

sucks for the people who do it legit. so everyone is just supposed to toss the gall bladder away I guess if they don't use it themselves?

Yeah I normally sell it to a korean place but the guy at the nail salon where my mom gets her nails done said his uncle would buy it. I will see where I can get the most for them.

Nice! U better get one of those monster bucks

I've been seeing a few around my property every now and then when riding on my dirtbike or quad. Last year my moms fiance saw a monster buck way in the back of my property and he couldn't get a shot on him. But we have pictures of his scrapes around that area. Hes easily in the 160s class. He free roams the back of my land and my neighbors which don't hunt property too. I also have some pics of a really nice buck I saw on my other trail camera last year I just remembered.
